Hi, Mr. Woods! I'm a parent of a high school basketball player who would really like to continue playing basketball in college (he's a junior). Unfortunately, I don't know where to begin as to how to help him achieve his goal. He is 6'4" (and still growing) and 185 lbs. (with size 17 feet) and played on the JV team his freshman year and the varsity team his sophomore year as well as this year. He's a starter and has been playing the 3, 4 and 5 positions all year, but mostly the 4. Unfortunately, the high school he attends doesn't get any attention and I'm at a loss on how to go about getting my son noticed. He also has been playing AAU ball since 7th grade but, again, that team never seems to get noticed. Is there any hope for him to actually play college ball? I couldn't find an email address for you, otherwise I would have emailed you directly. Any information you could offer would be very much appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your time!
